The Dubrovnik City Break by Yes Getaways includes round-trip flights and 6 nights in a hotel in Dubrovnik, selected by the Yes Getaways team. The hotels selected by the Yes Getaways team are in Dubrovnik, some inside the Old Town walls and others outside them. If your hotel is inside the Old Town, the main sights, restaurants and the Stradun are steps from your door. The Old Town is car-free: there is no parking, and taxis and transfers cannot reach the hotel entrance, so you will walk in from the nearest city gate with your luggage, usually the Pile Gate, often over stone steps. Some hotels, such as Palmotta and Exquisite Villa, can only be reached by stairs. If you travel with large suitcases or have limited mobility, contact the Yes Getaways team before booking.

Daily breakfast is not included by default, but it can be added during the booking process if available, or you can contact the Yes Getaways team to prioritize it. Other meals are not included. Try the local seafood, black risotto and, in Ston, the oysters of Mali Ston Bay.

No. Airport transfers are not included, but can be added during the booking process. Dubrovnik Airport is about 12 mi / 20 km southeast of the Old Town, around 30 minutes by road. An airport shuttle bus also runs to the Pile Gate, and taxis wait outside the terminal. If your hotel is inside the Old Town, transfers, the shuttle bus and taxis stop at the city gates, as cars cannot enter, and you walk from there to your hotel.

No tours are included, so you can plan the days your way. The Yes Getaways team can book the most popular ones before you travel, such as a guided walk of the Old Town, a day trip to Ston, a boat trip to the Elaphiti Islands or a day in Kotor, Montenegro, with hotel pick-up where available.

The main street, the Stradun, is flat, but the side streets and the city walls have many steps. The walls walk is about 1.2 mi / 2 km and takes 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. Go early in the morning, wear shoes with good grip, as the stone can be slippery, and carry water in summer. If your hotel is inside the car-free Old Town, you will also walk to it with your luggage, and some hotels there are reached only by stairs. Pack light or bring a suitcase you can carry. If you have mobility concerns, contact the Yes Getaways team before booking.

Yes. Kotor in Montenegro is about 2 hours by road and Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina about 3 hours, both as day tours. Both countries are outside the Schengen Area, so you will cross a border with passport checks, and waiting times can be long in summer. Bring your passport. The Yes Getaways team can book these tours for you.

Yes, round-trip flights are included. The package price varies depending on your departure airport. Other departure cities are available on request. Contact the Yes Getaways team before booking to discuss departure options. Checked luggage is not always included and depends on the airline and fare type. Confirm what is included and add luggage during the booking process. Seat selection and cabin class upgrades can be arranged as paid add-ons, subject to availability.

Croatia is part of the Schengen Area. U.S. and Canadian passport holders do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your return date. ETIAS, a pre-travel authorization for the Schengen Area, is not yet mandatory; when it starts, we will let you know in advance.

Dubrovnik is generally a very safe city for visitors. Take the usual care with bags and phones on the crowded Stradun and on the walls, and be careful on the polished stone streets, which get slippery after rain. In summer, drink plenty of water. Croatia uses the euro. Cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops in Dubrovnik, but it is useful to carry some cash for small cafés, boats and markets. If a card machine or ATM offers to charge you in U.S. or Canadian dollars, choose euros instead, as the conversion rate is usually better.

No. Croatia charges a tourist tax per person per night, which is paid directly at the hotel and is not included in the package price. Your hotel will confirm it at check-in.

May, June, September and October are the best months, with daytime highs around 72 to 81°F / 22 to 27°C and fewer crowds than in summer. July and August are hot, often above 86°F / 30°C, and the busiest months. Winters are mild, around 54°F / 12°C, but some restaurants and boat services close.

Yes. The package price is based on two travelers sharing a room. Solo travelers pay a single supplement. Yes. The Yes Getaways team can add extra nights in Dubrovnik or combine your trip with another destination before you book. Split is about 4 hours away by road or a few hours by ferry in summer, and Zagreb is a short flight away. The full package price is paid at booking. The land portion of your package is refundable if cancelled at least 14 days before your travel date. Airfare is non-refundable from the moment it is issued. Travel insurance with cancellation cover is strongly recommended.
