Tenerife 3-Week Stay with Car

The Yes Getaways Tenerife 3-Week Stay includes round-trip flights, 21 nights of extended-stay accommodation on the south coast, a rental car for the whole stay, picked up and returned at Tenerife South Airport, and all taxes and fees related to the booking. Meals, tours, ferries and parking are not included. You stay in one place for the three weeks, with no moving between accommodations.

Seat selection, extra baggage and cabin upgrades are not included in the package price but can be added for a fee, subject to availability.

Checked luggage depends on the airline and fare in your package. For a three-week stay you will most likely want a checked bag. You can see what is included and add luggage during the booking process, or the Yes Getaways team can arrange it for you.

You stay in extended-stay accommodation in one of the main towns of the south coast: Costa Adeje, Playa de las Américas or Los Cristianos. These areas are close to beaches, supermarkets and restaurants, and are joined by a seafront promenade. The available properties are shown when you click a date in the booking calendar and go to the next step, and the package price depends on the property you choose. Breakfast is not included by default, and upgrades are available on request.

A rental car is included for all 21 nights, with pick-up and drop-off at Tenerife South Airport. The standard car is a compact or economy model. Automatic cars and larger models are available on request at an additional cost. You will need your passport, driver's license and a credit card in the main driver's name at pick-up.

The rental includes basic insurance. Most rentals still have an excess, the amount you pay if the car is damaged. We always recommend upgrading to the highest insurance level available, which the Yes Getaways team can arrange when you book with an agent.

We recommend carrying an International Driving Permit (IDP) together with your US or Canadian driver's license, as Spain asks for it and some rental companies may request it at pick-up. It is easy to get before you leave home.

Parking is not included in the package price. Some properties on the south coast have free parking on site, while others charge a daily fee or have parking nearby. You can check the parking details of each property on the next step after clicking See Dates and Prices, and the Yes Getaways team can help you choose a property with free parking.

No. Tenerife's motorways have no tolls. Fuel is not included in the package price.

Breakfast is not included by default. Some properties offer breakfast for an extra fee, and the Yes Getaways team can prioritize a property with breakfast included when you book. Additional costs may apply. Lunch and dinner are not included either: you can eat out in the south coast towns or shop at supermarkets and local markets.

The south coast is the driest and sunniest part of Tenerife. In winter, days are usually 68°F to 73°F (20°C to 23°C), and summer is warmer, around 77°F to 86°F (25°C to 30°C). The north of the island is greener and gets more clouds. Up in Teide National Park it is much colder, with snow possible in winter, so bring a warm layer for those days.

Yes. Ferries to La Gomera leave from the port of Los Cristianos, and the crossing takes about one hour. Ferry tickets are not included. Check with the Yes Getaways team before taking the rental car on a ferry, as it may need authorization from the rental company. A guided day trip is another option.

Yes. The package is made for travelers who want to settle in: one base for three weeks, a car for day trips and mild weather in winter. Internet speed varies by property, so if you plan to work, tell the Yes Getaways team before booking and we will help you choose.

Yes. The Yes Getaways team can extend the stay, or split it between the south coast and Puerto de la Cruz in the north, depending on availability. Additional costs apply.

The package price is based on two travelers sharing a room. Solo travelers pay a single supplement. You can check solo pricing by changing the number of guests from 2 to 1 in the booking calendar before clicking See Dates and Prices, or contact the Yes Getaways team.

Tenerife belongs to Spain and is part of the Schengen Area. U.S. and Canadian passport holders do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your return date. ETIAS, a pre-travel authorization for the Schengen Area, is not yet mandatory; when it starts, we will let you know in advance.

⚠️ If your flights include a transit or layover in the United Kingdom, you will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before you travel.

Entry requirements can change, and it is the traveler's responsibility to check current visa, passport and transit requirements on their government's official travel advisory website before departure.

Starting November 3, 2026, all passengers flying to the United States, or connecting through U.S. territory, must hand in a signed declaration at check-in. This applies to U.S. citizens too. It confirms you have not been in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the 21 days before your flight. Download the form from the CDC website, fill it in, sign it and date it with your travel date. Passengers without a completed form may be denied boarding, so we recommend arriving at the airport with extra time. Requirements can change, so please check the CDC page before you travel.

The land portion of your package is refundable if cancelled at least 14 days before your travel date. Airfare is non-refundable once issued, but the Yes Getaways team will always check with the airline for options. Travel insurance with cancellation cover is strongly recommended, especially for a three-week stay. This summary does not replace the full terms and conditions of your booking.
